The American writer and poet Louise Glück is dead, writes the news agency AP and refers to her editor Jonathan Galassi.
Three years ago she was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature. The Washington Post writes that she was one of America’s most celebrated poets, who has been awarded the Pulitzer Prize, among other things.
“She received practically all of America’s top literary awards,” writes the newspaper.
Louise Glück was 80 years old.
