Residents of Baarn with an assistance dog will not have to pay dog tax next year. The exemption already applied to guide dogs for the blind and so-called ADL assistance dogs that help physically disabled people with daily chores. The city council of Baarn has unanimously decided that the exception should also apply to assistance dogs of people with epilepsy, diabetes or PTSD, for example.
