No punishment for demonstrators who occupy pension provider building in
The members of action groups Extinction Rebellion and Christian Climate Action Netherlands campaigned in November because they want PGGM to stop investing in fossil fuels. They turned to the pension provider because it carries out the investments for Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn (PFZW), which invests in fossil fuels, such as gas and oil. They held speeches, sang songs and clapped for each other in the PGGM building. The report states that several activists behaved in a disruptive manner. When the fourteen protesters refused to leave, they were arrested.
