No one in the village knew that the reception in Korpilombolo existed

One of the region’s service points had only four visits in a whole year. Something that was costly for the region.

Requirements for the number of care visits

Now, among other things, they have decided to introduce a requirement for at least three care visits on average per open opportunity. It applies during a follow-up period of three months for a branch or service point to continue operating.

No one knew about the reception

In Korpilombolo there is a village reception which is open every Monday.

But when SVT goes there to ask what people think of the reception, no one we talk to even knows that it exists – neither those who live in Korpilombolo nor those who visited the cottage.

Do you think the reception adds something?

– Yes, if you know about it. I didn’t know about it, says Elin Alapää who lives just outside Korpilombolo.

In the clip, you can hear what people think about the fact that there is a reception in the township – after SVT informed about it.
