“When construction takes place somewhere, a lot of waste is released,” Vis continues. “We take that, we separate it and we try to make as many products from it as possible. Such as concrete, plastic, wood and metal.” Two-thirds of the material is reused. “We are one of the best in Europe, I can proudly say.” But a significant portion does go into the trash. “We want to achieve 75 percent recycling by 2030.”
