It was shortly after seven o’clock on Wednesday evening that a total of three cars and a truck collided on the E6 at Kävlinge in Skåne.
According to Region Skåne, 17 people are said to have been injured in connection with the accident.
Three people were initially reported to have received life-threatening injuries, but later the police were able to establish that the situation had improved for all.
The situation has also improved for the people who were slightly injured and several of them have been able to leave the hospital.
