The five men who were initially suspected of the murder of Koran burner Salwan Momika have now been written off from the investigation, the prosecutor announces.
– We have a fairly good picture of the course of events, but at present have no person who is detained or served suspicion. We work broadly and I cannot go into what different tracks we follow, says Senior Prosecutor Rasmus Öman in a press release.
It was at the end of January that Salwan Momika was shot dead in an apartment in Södertälje. The five men were arrested and arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder, but were released a few days thereafter. However, the suspicions remained, until now.
