A woman in her 30s died and a total of nine people were injured in the accident in June this year, when the Jetline ride at Gröna Lund derailed.
The accident commission has previously stated that a broken support arm under the front carriage caused the roller coaster to derail. However, it is unclear exactly what broke the support arm.
“No decision about Jetline’s future has yet been made. The attraction will remain closed until the National Accident Commission has completed its investigation into the accident… It is clear, however, that Jetline will remain closed even during 2024,” writes Gröna Lund.
The accident commission’s final report is expected to be ready in May-June 2024.
