Last night, around 1 a.m., director Todd Philipps published three new photos from Joker 2 Folie à Deux on his Instagram account. Clichés which have aroused quite a few reactions, particularly for the musical comedy aspect of which the film has been the subject of rumors for many months. It is true that in Photo 3, we see Arthur Fleck and Harley Quinn dancing on the stage of a theater, suggesting this musical approach that many fear. Lawrence Sher, who is the director of photography on the film, wanted to reassure spectators, no Joker 2 will not be a musical comedy, in the classic sense of the term. There will be many songs in the feature film, but it will not necessarily be a musical. Enough to relieve a lot of people who have started to speculate about his singing sequences.
