Not in the mood for the 25th sequel or spin-off? Fed up of meta-comments that immediately ruin every emotional moment? Or maybe you just want something unusual, something new? Oh, Action fans are you too? Perfect. Then come with us on a trip to India.
According to the subtitle, RRR stands for “Rise. Roar. Revolt.” That is exactly what happens in this film. Two heroes rise up, there is a lot of roaring and heroic revolt against the British occupiers. And they do so in the most epic, refreshingly honest and creative waythat you can only imagine. If you really want to see something new, you should definitely give RRR on Netflix a chance.
In RRR on Netflix, two freedom fighters join forces to overthrow a cruel British occupier
Actually, RRR is something like historical fanfiction. Our two heroes are based on real freedom fighters who contributed significantly to the decolonization of India. The two have never met. But RRR asks the question: What if they had met in the 1920s? And what if they had become the very best of friends and would have kicked the British in the back together?
It all begins with a visit by a British governor (Ray Stevenson) and his wife to the Gond tribe. Enchanted by the singing of a little girl, they decide to to kidnap and take them to Delhi. Komaram Bheem (NT Rama Rao Jr.), the protector of his people, then sets off to the city to save them.

Raju and Bheem, pretty much best friends in RRR
At the same time, the stoic Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan Teja) is working on his promotion in the police force, which consists mainly of British people. He is supposed to catch the rebel Bheem. But due to a Fateful encounter The two get to know each other outside of their respective roles and immediately develop a close bond. A bond that hangs by a thread thanks to their respective secrets.
RRR is bombastic, emotionally touching and wipes the floor with current blockbusters
RRR can only be described in words to a limited extent. A good three hours of an absolute action ride, which no western product can currently hold a candle to, is difficult to break down. When characters are introduced by one single-handedly holding a crowd of several thousand at bay and another Wrestling with a tiger operates – what is left to say?
While some films illegally turn the control up to level eleven, RRR rips the control out of its socket and throws it into the face of the next opponent with so much force that he flies backwards through the wall. The only difference is that RRR doesn’t need intensity controls as projectiles. Our protagonist Bheem prefers to use other extreme thingswhich we don’t want to spoil here.

Things that would never happen at Marvel in RRR
There is more to this film than just action. A love story, a epic dance-off and the male friendship of the century are also part of it. And all this is accompanied by refreshing, honest enthusiasm There are no meta-gags here that make fun of how over-the-top everything is. The film takes itself seriously in the best possible way and exudes pure joy in the magic of cinema.
Anyone who is fed up with the eternal Marvel uniformity, Fast & Furious 59605 and Red Notice fiascos is slowly losing childlike enthusiasm for film If you are not into this genre, you should take the time to watch this epic. It may take a little getting used to, as our viewing habits are not used to some of the stylistic devices here – but it is worth it.
