No further investigation into possible wolf tooth print

“The incident was of course caused by a wolf, but that is different from a wolf bite,” says wolf expert Dick Klees. He understands why the province is not investigating the possible tooth print further. “If there had been a reason for that, the province would have done so,” says Klees. His colleague wolf expert Diederik van Liere also understands the decision. “The important question was whether it was a wolf, we know that now. We also know that it was a minor injury. That indicates a threat and not a real full-fledged attack,” says van Lieren.
