Chatham-Kent police reported no foul play was suspected after a body was recovered Friday from the Thames River.
Police were assisted in the evening removal of the remains from the river in Dover Township by Chatham-Kent Fire and Emergency Services.
The body was transported to the London Health Sciences Center for a forensic autopsy, police said.
Because foul play is not suspected, safety is also not a concern, police said.
Out of respect to the family, the identity of the deceased will not be released, police said.
