‘No foul play’ in death at Simcoe home, police say

A death at a Simcoe home on Dec. 22 has been deemed not suspicious.

Officers and paramedics responded to reports of a death at the Queen Street North home at around 8:50 pm, police said in a release Saturday, Dec. 23.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and no foul play is suspected,” OPP Sgt. Ed Sanchuk told The Spectator in an email on Wednesday.

The investigation involved the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Services.
