Province of Utrecht – Never before have so many people been employed and yet the demand for new employees remains high. There are about 35,000 vacancies in the Central Netherlands region (Bunnik, De Bilt, Houten, IJsselstein, Lopik, Montfoort, Nieuwegein, Oudewater, Stichtse Vecht, Utrecht, Utrechtse Heuvelrug, Wijk bij Duurstede, Woerden, Zeist). And that makes the labor shortage in that region the most acute. This is evident from figures released today.
