A driver and passenger were shaken but uninjured after their vehicle ended up in Sarnia Bay Sunday, city police say.
Police responded around 1:12 pm to a call about a vehicle submerged in the water, police said.

Two bystanders jumped in to help get the driver and passenger out of the vehicle, police said, thanking them for taking action.
Lambton EMS responded and examined the people who were in the vehicle, police said.
The cause appears to be accidentally using the gas pedal instead of the brake, police said, noting the investigation is ongoing but no charges are anticipated.
A local tow company helped remove the submerged vehicle, police said.
