PROVINCE OF UTRECHT – N’Ketia Seedo has won the Dutch title in the 60 meters at the Dutch Indoor Championships. The Utrecht girl, who plays for U-Track, was in a class of its own in the final in Apeldoorn.
Seedo ran the 60 meters in a time of 7.25 seconds. She beat Demi van den Wildenberg and Naomi Sedney with that. Van den Wildenberg was fastest in the semifinals.
Seedo, who had not yet fallen below 7.40 at the Dutch National Championships on Saturday, peaked at the right time. It is her second Dutch title in the section. In 2020 she also won gold at the age of 16. In 2019 she sprinted to bronze.
Ball to final 400 meters
Femke Bol qualified for the final of the 400 meters at the Dutch National Championships without any problems. The Amersfoort athlete from Altis won her heat in 51.85 seconds. That turned out to be the fastest time of the day.
Lieke Klaver recorded a winning time of 52.21 in the last heat. Eveline Saalberg ran 52.54.
