Renswoude – Nitrogen emissions in the Gelderse Vallei must be reduced by 58 percent. Minister Christianne van der Wal (VVD) announced this this afternoon. That percentage can be even higher for farmers who are close to a Natura 2000 area. The decision is disadvantageous for farmers on the Utrecht side of the Valley, which concerns companies on the east side of the province.
