Taking its partnership to a new level with “e.dams”, Nissan has taken full ownership of its participation in the Formula E World Championship.
Nissan, which is currently on the agenda of Europe with its Ariya model, continues to take important steps regarding the electric future. The brand, which is prepared for the transition to full electricity by 2030, has made a serious investment to strengthen its hand in engineering. In this context, Nissan acquired the “e.dams” racing team, thus taking full ownership of its participation in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Nissan’s participation in Formula E supports the company’s long-term commitment to electrification and sustainability, set out in its Ambition 2030 plan. This acquisition therefore puts the Japanese manufacturer in full control of the Formula E project. Currently based in Le Mans, France, the team will continue to compete as scheduled in Season 8.
