The Nissan Ariya, which will push the limits in conditions ranging from -30⁰C to 30⁰C, will travel from the North Pole to the South Pole.
Ariya, the flagship model of Nissan’s new era, is also a test bed on the side of displaying the capabilities of the electrical infrastructure. The brand, which has implemented an important project to show the dynamics obtained during the development process on the mass production ready model, will go on a journey from the North Pole to the South Pole. Departing in March 2023, Chris Ramsey and the Nissan Ariya e-4ORCE team will travel more than 27,000 kilometers between various regions and continents, with estimated temperatures ranging from -30⁰C to 30⁰C. Ramsey will be the first person to travel from pole to pole in any vehicle as it travels from the North Pole to North, Central and South America before crossing into Antarctica. On the route, some of the world’s most challenging, brutal, and yet beautiful landscapes will be traversed. From snow-capped glacial landscapes to perilous mountain climbs to vast desert dunes, the Nissan Ariya arctic adventure will traverse breathtaking and unexplored regions.
