Nine people were injured – two seriously – after a two-vehicle collision involving a pickup truck and a minivan Saturday near Listowel, police say.
Emergency crews responded to the crash on Perth Line 86 between Perth Road 178 and Molesworth Line around 5:13 pm, Perth County OPP said in an update Wednesday.
The lone occupant of the pickup was air-lifted to a London-area hospital with “life-threatening” injuries, police said.
The driver of the minivan and one other occupant were taken to a local hospital and then also air-lifted to London with “serious” injuries, police said. Six other occupants in the minivan were brought to area hospitals with “minor” injuries, police said.
Perth Line 86 was closed between Perth Road 178 and Molesworth Line for several hours on the day of the crash.
The OPP West Region traffic incident management and enforcement team is helping with an ongoing investigation.
