A free trip to Las Vegas to watch the world’s best hockey?
The dream came true for Nils Wiklund – who won the hockey podcast Släpp Sargen’s maxed competition, sponsored by Hajper.

Going to Las Vegas is a dream for many, but to do it and also see some of the world’s best hockey players, in the world’s best hockey league? It is of course high on the bucket list of many hockey lovers.
That’s why Hockeypod Släpp Sargen took the opportunity to compete for a maximum hockey trip, to the entertainment capital of Las Vegas. The winner was Nils Wiklund.
– Of course I’m incredibly happy, he says.
– It feels a little surreal. It’s the kind of trip people talk about that you have to do once in your life. And now not having to pay for it… It feels like fun.
All correct in the difficult quiz
The competition included round-trip plane tickets, accommodation in party mode and tickets to two NHL games – and later this autumn, the trip will depart together with podcast profiles Niclas Norlindh and Robin Figren.
– I haven’t been to the US, but the only thing I know is that we’re going to have a lot of fun. Everyone who has been there says the same thing: “You won’t be bored”. There will be a few beers, losing some money and then watching two great matches.
Nils Wiklund won the trip by answering a hockey quiz, and then drew the longest straw in the hockey quiz final, which will also be broadcast in Släpp Sargen.
– I was still very surprised. I have to admit that I had a little fluency in the quiz. I knew some, but I still had a chance at three or four. But it worked out!
The twin brother along for the ride
Nils is, as you may understand, a big hockey fan, with a special eye for junior hockey. Otherwise, Skellefteå AIK is the favorite team – an interest he shares with his twin brother. He will also be the one lucky enough to accompany Nils and the Släpp Sargen gang on the trip.
– We share many of our interests. He booked the place as soon as he heard that I was going to be in the final. He is obviously overjoyed, says Nils.
