Niklas Wikegård has now made his last television broadcast.
The popular television profile was moved to tears during his acceptance speech on TV4.

It was almost 20 years as a celebrated TV expert and popular hockey fan. But now have Niklas Wikegård said goodbye in the TV box.
Wikegård ends
The 60-year-old made his very last television broadcast in connection with the SC final on Monday evening. In the middle of Skellefteå AIK’s great jubilation over the SM gold, even Wikegård resigned and it became quite emotional.

The TV4 profile was almost moved to tears during his acceptance speech, which came straight from the heart.
– Damn how difficult this became, to sit and talk about yourself. You’ve never done that, you’re supposed to be talking about SM gold… I’ve had a great year and will miss you all. It will feel a bit strange to be on the other side next season, says Wikegård in the TV broadcast.
Niklas emotional
Niklas Wikegård now steps into Djurgården’s organization as overall sports director and will now be on the other side of the television interviews. Then the hockey veteran joked that he “will not answer a single question” when TV4 brings the interview microphone.

During the television channel’s tribute to his beloved colleague, memorable moments from his long time in the television box were shown. Then Wikegård was very taken by the beautiful moment, see the video below.
– You know yourself how many miles you spend together. You go home from Jönköping late at night and sit in the car and solve world problems. You get close to each other and become like a family. I am very grateful to have been a part of it for many, many years. I have enjoyed and enjoy very well. A new door is opening now, it was about time and I am looking forward to it, says Niklas Wikegård in the television broadcast.
