After an exciting final in the Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Nike Sellmar stood as the winner of Idol 2022.
During the final, Nike performed three songs. The own song choice ended up on “Happier than ever” by Billie Eilish and a repeat favorite from this year’s Idol season – “Make you feel my love” by Bob Dylan.
When she was crowned the winner, she performed the winning song “Anything you say”, written by Ola Svensson, Jonas Jurström and Viktor Crone.
In addition to the great honor, the Idol win also means that Nike gets a record deal with Universal Music.

It was a nervous atmosphere at the Globe, to say the least.
Albin Tingwall gave Nike Sellmar a tough fight in the finals, but ended up coming second in the popular entertainment show. He performed his own song selection “Falling” by Harry Styles and favorite in repeat the song from which he appeared earlier during Idol which was “It must have been love” by Roxette.

Pär Lernström led Idol in the usual order as host and brought his side-kick with him Anise Don Demina on stage.
The evening in honor, when the world’s biggest Idol finale started, many famous artists were guests.
The Swedish pop wonder Benjamin Ingrosso was on stage, and also the world artist Charlie Puththe hitmaker Miss Li as well as the Eurovision star Rosa Linn.
