Tuomas Kiiskinen has become the all-time best goal scorer of KalPa from Kuopio in the regular season.
Captain of KalPa Tuomas Kiiskinen rose according to the SM league on Tuesday as the Kuopio club’s all-time best goal scorer.
Kiiskinen finished his League career with the 106th goal in a KalPa shirt in a 1–3 loss against Tappara.
The celebratory goal of the club icon, known to the people of Savo as “Niiralan Maltsevi”, came in the second period of the match, when he reduced the match to 1-2.
Kiiskinen overtook KalPa as the top scorer of all time Sami Kapanenwho scored a total of 105 goals in nine seasons at KalPa.
The 37-year-old Kiiskinen, who is playing in his 11th season at KalPa, has scored 106 goals in the 460 matches he has played in KalPa. 46 of the goals have been overpowering goals, one underpowered goal, and 17 times Kiiskinen’s hit has been the winning goal of the match.
