Kristianstad’s left-six Sanja Radosavljević had already incurred two expulsions when, in the 26th minute of the match, she shot the ball in the face of Skövde’s goalkeeper.
It meant a third sending off and a red card for the Kristianstad player, who thus had to watch the rest of the match from the stands.
With one less outfield player, Kristianstad still fought bravely. The Skåne team was down 19-14 at halftime, caught up to 32-30 in the second, but missed a chance when they had momentum and when the final whistle sounded: a 35-30 victory for Skövde.
The loss is the second in a row for third in the table Kristianstad, who before that started the season very strongly with four straight victories.
With the victory, Skövde is on the same points as Kristianstad, but one place lower in the table with a worse goal difference.
