While a delegation from ECOWAS arrived in Niamey to establish a dialogue with the putschists who took power in Niger, the latter took measures and took strong positions on Thursday evening August 3. The junta has denounced military agreements concluded with France, withdrawn ambassadors from four countries and announced that it will respond to “any aggression” from ECOWAS.
