A brief rally in support of ousted Nigerien President Mohamed Bazoum took place in Niamey on Sunday 13 August morning. Despite bans and pressure, voices opposing the junta have struggled to make themselves heard in coordinated action. According to a network of associations, at least 54 people were arrested during these gatherings, strictly prohibited by the junta.
