In Niger, after several years of negotiations, the French nuclear giant Orano (ex-Areva) and Niamey have just signed a global partnership agreement to exploit the country’s uranium deposits. This new agreement marks the return of the French group and therefore allows it to resume its activities of extracting the precious metal from Niger.
