Nieuwegein – Nieuwegein will stop purchasing gas through the Russian company Gazprom. The municipality’s new gas supplier will be Eneco, and Nieuwegein will have to spend a lot of money for that. The costs for the last quarter of this year will be around 145,000 euros, while the costs for that quarter were estimated at 22,000 euros.
