Fatih rolls in a pink suitcase and plops down on one of the beds. “I think it’s going to be a toss to see who gets to sleep on which one,” he jokes. He fled Turkey for political reasons and therefore prefers not to share his surname. “It looks neat,” he thinks as he looks around the room. He will be staying in this room with five beds for the foreseeable future. Until he gets a status, he explains. “I don’t mind waiting. I’m happy that I can sleep here.”
