The Swedish Public Health Agency will ensure that online sellers comply with the new law on tobacco-free nicotine products, the Ministry of Social Affairs states.
The law means, among other things, that the products may not be sold if they and the points of sale have not been pre-registered. The products must also have warnings and meet the advertising requirements for moderation.
The authority receives SEK 4.4 million to prepare for the new tasks.
