The Arsenal club confirmed on Saturday the departure of its Ivorian striker Nicolas Pépé, once the most expensive transfer in the history of the Gunners, who signed with the Turks of Trabzonspor. Arsenal released the Ivorian with the year remaining on his contract, after paying some 80 million euros to bring him from Lille in August 2019. Pépé scored 27 goals in 111 appearances for the London club, where he never really convinced. He was started only 43 times.
