Nicolas Jackson shines with brace and assist for Chelsea against

Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson had a solid performance in the London derby between Chelsea and West Ham (3-0) this Saturday, September 21, scoring twice and an assist for the Blues. In the first few minutes, Jackson opened the scoring after a solo breakthrough on the left wing that ended with a ball slipped between the legs of the Hammers goalkeeper (3rd). He doubled the lead fifteen minutes later with a perfectly placed outside of his right foot (18th). Just after the start of the second half, the Senegalese was then in charge of a counterattack before providing an assist to Cole Palmer who definitively stunned West Ham (47th). His excellent performance allows Chelsea to string together a third victorious away game in the Premier League and to temporarily climb to 2nd place in the standings. It also confirms the choice of the new Blues coach, Enzo Maresca, to start him at the expense of Frenchman Christopher Nkunku since the start of the season.
