Nickisha Pryce broke three records in one run when she won the women’s 400m Diamond League race in London. The Jamaican’s time of 48.57 is his new record, a Jamaican record, a race record and the best result of the season. It is also the seventh hardest time on the all-time list, with Germany holding the top spot Marita Koch (47.60).
Pryce healed Sydney McLaughlin-Levronen own top time by 0.18 seconds and own Jamaican record by 0.32 seconds. Pryce had run the old record in early June.
The track tour was of quite a tough level, because Poland, who came second, was also there Natalia Kaczmarek improved his country’s record to a time of 48.90. Kaczmarek beat the previous record he ran at the European Championships in Rome by 0.08 seconds. Third ran the Netherlands Flame Klaver improved his record to a time of 49.58.
