Nice surprise for Bouygues Telecom subscribers: the operator is integrating its B.tv service into its B&You 100 GB telephone plan, in addition to the 5G option. A nice gift that allows you to access streaming TV at no extra cost!
A few days ago, Free Mobile subscribers were treated to good news: the operator decided to enrich its 5G package, at €19.99 per month, with the addition of the Oqee TV application in the formula – which includes some 220 channels –, without increasing the price of the offer (see our article). A more than welcome gift in this period of inflation, when mobile plans continue to increase, while the duration of promotional offers has been reduced. It was enough for Bouygues Telecom to follow in the footsteps of its turbulent competitor by launching a new offer also including data and television. This time, it is the B&You package including 100 GB with several options offered such as 5G, Assistance+ and the unlimited B.tv option. B&You 100 GB package: access to B.tv at no extra cost
Bouygues Telecom offers four main B&You mobile plans, all without commitment, with unlimited calls, SMS and MMS in mainland France:
- 1 GB of data at €4.99 per month;
- 20 GB at €9.99 per month;
- 100 GB at €13.99 per month;
- 200 GB 5G at €17.99 per month.
Only the 100 and 200 GB plans offer 5G at no additional cost – otherwise, you have to pay €3 more per month. On the other hand, only the subscription including 100 GB offers free access to unlimited B.tv, which therefore includes 70 live and replay TV channels, as well as radios and podcasts, with the possibility of resuming a current program from the beginning and broadcast (“cast”) programs on TV. A significant detail: access to this video content is not deducted from the data envelope of the package. We can therefore watch TV channels without counting while taking advantage of the 100 GB in addition. The B.tv application is available on mobile and on certain smart TVs, as well as on Android TV and Apple TV. Finally, the Assistance+ option allows privileged access to customer service by telephone at 1064.
This is actually the integration of a pre-existing option called Services Max, which therefore includes the advantages mentioned above. However, it is normally charged an additional €4 per month, while the B&You package does not see its price change and remains at €13.99 per month. By comparison, the Bouygues Telecom offer is less rich than the Free Mobile package in terms of data envelope and in terms of the number of channels that are available, but it offers a much lower price, for new subscribers as for those who have already subscribed to the operator.
