Nice attack: words of victims

Nice attack words of victims

The date is engraved forever… On July 14, 2016, around 10:45 p.m., a white truck launched at full speed on the Promenade des Anglais, rushes into the crowd that has just witnessed the fireworks of the national holiday. In its mad dash, the heavyweight kills 86 people and injures more than 400. Men, women, but also children. And then there are those who have seen it all, those who have lost a loved one before their eyes, or those who have helped while waiting for first aid.

How do you live after such an ordeal? Is it possible to rebuild? Six years after the tragedy, what does the trial which is to begin this Monday represent for those whose lives have changed forever?

“Attack in Nice: words of victims”, a report by Lucie Bouteloup.
