The 28-year-old has mostly played in the AHL, but has also played 67 games in the NHL for Toronto, Winnipeg and Chicago. Carl Dahlström has signed for three years.
“It feels really good actually. As Viktor Ejdsell and I are very good friends, I have followed Färjestad quite closely since we parted ways in Chicago,” he says to the club’s website.
Other additions to the Värmland SHL team in recent days are two centers, the Czech David Tomásek, most recently from Sparta Prague, and Joel Kellman, who left Växjö.
