Next year three million for bed bath bread

The reception of rejected asylum seekers in Utrecht seems to be able to continue after all. The government and a majority in the Lower House want to get rid of the LVV scheme – better known as the bed-bath-bread scheme – and stop the subsidy. At the request of the Association of Dutch Municipalities, the municipal fund is contributing an additional two million euros this year. Next year, the municipality of Utrecht will contribute another million.
