The US news agency AP sues three high -ranking employees in President Donald Trump’s administration.
The reason is that the White House gates AP’s journalists from the White House, Trump’s residence MAR-A-LAGO in Florida and the President’s Air Force One aircraft.
The Trump government does so because the AP still calls the bay in the Atlantic for the Gulf of Mexico – despite the fact that US President Donald Trump changed its name to US Gulf.
“We will keep them away until they agree that it’s called American Golf,” Trump said on Tuesday.
The three mentioned in AP’s mood are Trump’s Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt and White House Deputy House Manager Taylor Budowich.
“The press and the entire US population have the right to choose their own words and are not subjected to reprisals of the government,” the AP writes, calling for a basic crime that violates the first supplement of the US constitution that guarantees freedom of expression.
Earlier this week, about 40 news organizations wrote under a letter that urges the White House to change its attitude towards the AP.
