New York Times Elon Musk met with Irans UN ambassador

Iranian sources tell the newspaper about it.

President-elect of the United States Donald Trump’s a close aide, a billionaire Elon Musk met Iran’s UN ambassador in New York on Monday, Iranian sources say for the New York Times. According to sources, Musk talked with the UN ambassador for a good hour by Amir Saeid Iravan with in a secret place. The discussions were described as “positive” and “good news”.

Musk does not comment on the newspaper’s information.

Musk has become the most influential private citizen of the Trump transition, and according to the New York Times, he has sat in on nearly every job interview looking for key members of the Trump administration.

When Trump talked last week by phone with the president of Ukraine to Volodomyr Zelensky with, several sources said that Musk also participated in the discussions. Axios according to Musk would have told Zelensky that he will continue to support Ukraine with Starlink satellites.

Neither Musk nor Trump commented on the matter.
