Wall Street cautious Job Report above estimates

(Finance) – On Wall Street, the Dow Jones is substantially stable and is positioned at 39,440 points, while, on the contrary, theS&P-500 proceeds in small steps, advancing to 5,336 points. In fractional progress the Nasdaq 100 (+0.41%); with a similar direction, just above parity theS&P 100 (+0.41%).

The labor market data released yesterday showed lower jobless claims in the United States, easing fears of a sharp slowdown in the American economy. Traders are now looking closely at statistics due next week, on inflation, manufacturing and retail sales.

On the monetary policy front, Kansas City Fed President Jeffrey Schmid said he was not prepared to support an interest rate cut with inflation still above the central bank’s target.

In the S&P 500, the sector performed well informatics.

Among the best Blue Chips of the Dow Jones, American Express (+1.50%), Apple (+1.20%), Salesforce (+1.09%) and Microsoft (+0.99%).

The strongest sales, however, are seen on Intelwhich continues trading at -3.14%.

Weak day for McDonald’swhich marks a decrease of 1.31%.

Small loss for United Healthwhich trades at -1.14%.

Among the best performers of the Nasdaq 100, Trade Desk (+10.32%), Palo Alto Networks (+4.15%), Take-Two Interactive Software (+2.88%) and Atlassian (+2.60%).

The worst performances, however, are recorded on Intelwhich gets -3.14%.
