New World German servers 2023

New World is gearing up for a big comeback with a new direction and console version. But which server should you currently play on if you want to have German players in particular? We’ll tell you.

Are there servers only for German players? Since the last server mergers, there are only three servers for Central Europe: Kronos, Aaru and Nysa. There is no official division into languages. For a long time, however, Aaru was considered an unofficial DE server.

German is the main language spoken in the general chat. However, you will also often meet players who only speak English or another language. It is similarly colorful on Nysa, which was originally an unofficial French server. However, after server mergers, some German guilds have also landed on Nysa.

Which server is best? With only three servers left, the selection is manageable. In addition, all worlds boast equally manageable numbers of players. Only around 5,000 Aeternum heroes currently log into the MMORPG at the same time during peak times. The EU servers regularly have 200 to 950 active players.

There are no long queues on any of the three realms. You must also note that Kronos is marked as a so-called new beginning world and can therefore only be visited by newly created characters. A server transfer from Aaru and Nysa to Kronos is not possible.

The advantage of Kronos: A comparatively stable economy was able to establish itself here, as many of the dupe exploits had already been fixed by the time the game went online. If you want to start with a completely new community, you should wait until the console release of New World Aeternum on October 15, 2024.

Where are the European servers located? The physical servers are located in Frankfurt am Main, so you can expect relatively low latency in Germany.

You can now tackle dungeons across servers by using the Dungeon Finder. The Outpost Storm also takes place with players from different servers. Which server are you currently on?
