There are three different factions in New World. At level 10 you have to choose one, but you can change it later. We at MeinMMO reveal how you change factions, how often you can do this and what the consequences of such a change are.
How do I change factions?
In order to be able to change factions, you must also leave your company. Because a company can only contain members of one faction.
How many times can I change factions? After changing factions, you must wait 120 days before you can change factions again.

You lose all progress and have to farm reputation again
What are the consequences of the change? Some. For one thing, you now work for a different faction when it comes to wars over territories. Your former friends and guild members can attack you in the open world and sometimes face you as enemies in wars. However, you get around this problem if you switch with the entire company.
In addition, however, your farmed reputation is completely lost. Each faction has different ranks that have rewards attached to them. For example, anyone who has reached the highest rank in a faction can use the brands to buy plaster balls and items.
In the new faction, you start all over again and have to grind reputation and brands again and complete the quests to increase the respective ranks.
