As Bloomberg reveals in an exclusive report, the streaming service is planning numerous spin-offs to well-known brands, especially a new Wednesday series. The fantasy adventure led by Jenna Ortega became the streamer’s most successful English-language original with over 250 million hours watched.
Now another project is set to expand the Addams Family cosmos at Netflix. A spin-off is planned focused on Uncle Fester. In the first season of Wednesday, he was played by Fred Armisen and turned out to be a scene stealer. However, the Uncle Fester project has not yet been officially announced.
Peaky Blinders and Extraction: Netflix is planning even more spin-off series for popular brands
After the success of Extraction and Extraction 2, Netflix is considering a series based on the action series with Chris Hemsworth. There is also talk of two new Peaky Blinders series.
