The Raung volcano in Indonesia’s northern archipelago is once again spewing ash into the sky. On Friday, a 400 meter high column of smoke was measured by the country’s authorities.

Late last Tuesday, the volcano had its first eruption and several eruptions followed during the week. The authorities went out on Friday morning and announced that the activities had subsided. But just a couple of hours later, ash started pouring out again.

Over 11,000 people have been evacuated and a tsunami warning has been issued in case parts of the volcano collapse into the sea.
