The Left Party today presented a proposal to gain control over the rampant electricity prices.
With the background that Sweden is Europe’s largest electricity exporter, the party wants to see a lower price for Swedish electricity consumers and maintain the market price for what is exported.
But Svenska kraftnät assesses that the V proposal is contrary to EU legislation.
At the same time, electricity prices are soaring and will break records in southern Sweden on Friday with SEK 4.47 per kilowatt hour. Which is the highest price ever.
