The latest patch was released in New World on April 4th. This brought new story content, a new dungeon and the first season pass. However, there is also a new, critical bug. He simply deleted all of the equipment of some players.
What has happened there? Shortly after the release of the new update, a thread was posted on the forums where players posted screenshots of their characters (via New World). In these images, the characters are naked, have no armor, no weapons, no bags, no potions, and no buff food. Only the gathering tools and the general inventory remained.
It is not yet clear what exactly caused the error. However, since it is precisely the equipment slots that are affected that have to do with the new storage system of the update, the bug is likely to have been triggered by this.
The players who are affected also logged out of an instance before the update – either a dungeon, in their own house or the outpost tower.
It is curious that the update was already postponed by a week from March 28th to April 4th – due to a critical error.
Is there already a solution? Not yet. At 9:05 a.m. there was a player in the forum who also complained about the bug. So some players haven’t been able to play New World properly for almost 17 hours – and so far there is no statement when the error will finally be fixed.
