Winter was not really what the Norwegian ski star hoped for.
But now comes an unexpected message that affects her to the highest degree.
It has really been a tumultuous season for Kristine Stavås Skistad. It all started with a tough stomach surgery just before the start of the season and destroyed her for a few months.
Skistad disappointed
Then the Norwegian sprint star put all the effort to become one hundred percent to the season’s big goal in the form of ski World Cup 2025 in Trondheim. Stavås Skistad entered the World Cup with high expectations and was pointed out as a probable gold candidate.
But she was still without a chance against the Swedish sprint queen Jonna Sundling that salvaged another championship gold in the individual sprint. Kristine Stavås Skistad had to settle for a World Cup silver as the only medal in Trondheim and was really disappointed for it.

Now she has finished her ski season after declining the Norwegian championship. But despite this, a new message that affects her is very much affecting her.
Kristine’s own words
Praised the ski coach Tinus Dahl Leaves the Norwegian cross -country team, where he was a coach in the so -called “recourse team”. This is the level under the A-national team for the most talented cross-country skiers.
Now Dahl is ready for the Norwegian ski club Team Konnerud, where Stavås Skistad is the big star rider.
-It is irritating all over the body when we can now announce that Tinus Dahl will be part of the coach team in Konnerud, the club writes on their official Instagram account.
– This is a completely outstanding recruitment for us. Takeing in such capacity that is interested in the entire Konnerud project, both top and children’s sports, will strengthen our entire club environment. I’m really happy now, says the Konnerud coach Lage Sofielund in a statement.

Kristine Stavås Skistad has already commented on the news with the words: “This will be Joooo”. This recruitment consolidates Team Konnerud’s position as one of the world’s best women’s teams at the club team level.
