New train timetable tomorrow – several departures are cancelled

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Tomorrow, a new train timetable comes into effect, where Mälartåg and SJ will have fewer departures than before, reports Echo.

– We have simply had problems with getting train drivers, says Joakim Sundh, CEO of MTR Mälartåg.

The company says it is working hard to get enough drivers to get back to the level passengers want.

The new train timetable comes into force on the same day that the Swedish Transport Administration changes its planning system. For SJ, this has created so much concern that they have booked every available bus in the whole of Sweden, according to Aftonbladet.
