Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has found her Prince Charming. At least until she into an abyss and thrown to a dragon. The first trailer for Netflix’s fantasy hit Damsel suggests an extremely entertaining mix of fairy tale adventure and Die Hard.

Netflix star in Game of Thrones mode: Millie Bobby Brown becomes a warrior princess
Damsel takes place in a fairytale kingdom that Elodie (Brown) is soon to inherit: she is to marry Prince Henry (Nick Robinson). But before they can live happily ever after, their husband throws them into a dark hole to sacrifice to a dragon. The young almost-bride doesn’t plan on ending up in a reptilian stomach, though.
The Netflix fantasy comes from director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, which ends a long break from cinema. The 28 Weeks Later director last brought Intruders to the screen more than ten years ago.
When is Damsel coming to Netflix?
Damsel will be on March 8, 2024 appear on Netflix. In addition to Brown and Robinson, Robin Wright (House of Cards) can also be seen in front of the camera. The screenplay was written by Dan Mazeau (Fast & Furious 10).
